I had it all planned. i would go to Sunday school at Stafford for as long as i could stay, then rush over to Pillar for service then back to Stafford for the Potluck...(which i still dont know why we had a potluck...)
it would be a day to see all the wonderful Pillar people and last chance to see some Stafford people. the day was already filled with joy and wonderful.
then it happened!
the news that blew me away!
I was chit-chatting with some pillar wonderfuls (amanda long, brittany shaw and i believe amy scott was with us at this point too.)
Enter Clint Clifton...
the bearer of wonderous things!
he said something along the lines of "what could i tell you that would make your day"
this had me stumped for a minute as i tried to guess, then i just gave up and asked what it was and these were the words that came out of his mouth.
"i have a car for you"
my reaction to this was this... eyes enlarged, hand over mouth to hide the fact that my jaw was almost to the floor, the need to process what he had just said, quickly followed by jumping around and asking a billion question such as "are you serious?" "how?"

Someone came up to him after service and donated the car to pillar to give to whoever could use it. and i dont completely know why but am SO grateful(is that how you spell gratefull, or is it greatfull?) words, just cannot express. getting a car was not even fully on my mind, paying for college was. i had reserved that i didnt have a car for a reason and that God would provide one in his time and decided to focus my attention on school payments. and the WHAM! out of nowhere! im so excited! and then it goes beyond that, as if just giving me the car wasnt enough, the very awesome and kind gentleman that donated the car also paid to have new tires put on it and for an inspection. i mean! wow!
i just, ive been singing over and over that song,
God is so Good, God is so Good, God is so good hes so good to me
He answers prayers, He answers prayers he answers prayers hes so good to me

and i know theologically that song is slightly off cause God always answers prayers, even if the outcome is not what we want. but seriously, i think singing that song at this time is fitting!
well, this then leads to Monday, that story will be in another blog.
