been on spring break for about four days now. its awesome. i get to sleep in, but not so much cause for some reason i keep wakin up at 8, this is unusual for me because i used to be able to sleep in til like 11 or 12 with out any problems! what am i doing with all my spare time?...well, im catching up on some much need laundry time and im relaxing. i swept out the garage cause when i walked through it to go get the mail i saw a ton of leaves and grabbed the broom right quick!
i even sorted the mail. other then all that, ive been searching the web for good airfares for michele and i to fly down to Global!
57 days til we depart!!!!!! im excited!!!!!!

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!
so today i went to the dmv to get a new drivers license and then went to target and got a new wallet and well...
God is so funny at times...he played that whole april fools thing on me a bit early, because today i was in the van lookin for my moms car charger and well, GUESS WHAT I FOUND!!!!!!!!
hahahahahah so funny!!!!!!! really it is...its nuts...so now i gotta cut up my old atm cards cause i took "precautionary measures" and reported them lost/stollen, and wait for a bit to get the new ones...
oh well im just really greatful that i found the wallet, and that i have once again proven to myself that i am blind and not very much of an observant person!
oh and anyothe blessing is that because i got a new license that means i got to take a new pic, and it is MUCH better then the first one! hahah fun stuff!

um...so i dont know how, but i have lost my wallet...no bueno! and i dont have my cell phone right now cause i left it somewhere,(but i know where that somewhere is so no worries with that) but im kinda worried about this whole wallet thing, i dont even know where to look...

We've got something for you you pray for if you wouldnt mind! We thank you so much for all of your support, are goal is on the horizon, (meaning that if we sell all the shirts, the money will be basically done! which is AWESOME!) and we are really excited about the summer and being able to serve the Lord this summer. Our Goal is visible, we can see it ahead, we ask that you would pray for our fellow staffers, those that have finished raising their funds and those that are still working on it. If you feel led to help at all then please let us know! if you want to know how you can help then here is a few ways,
1. come to the open houses, buy some baked goods, buy some trinkets made by mi madre(my mom), Mary Castle,
2. just send money directly down to global lable it something like, interns in need of summer money, you can mail that to 40 blackhawk trail Chatsworth GA 30705 (or you can have me send it down, either way works and it will get down there, saving on postage!)
3. PRAY! pray that God will provide, that those that still need money will not become discouraged, that God would use this for the Glory of His name!

Relearning
ok so way back when, like ten years ago, i took piano lessons, i loved them!
and well i had to stop after like 4 years of having them and so i kinda forgot most of what i had learned, i mean, i still know the basic concepts of the piano and some notes, and i have managed to still remember how to play one song from memory which has been kul, but the past few years ive just REALLY wanted to actually be able to PLAY the piano! i mean, i love music so much that it just would make sense to be able to play it on some type of instrument instead of constantly asking my musically talented friends to play me the songs. so i just picked up a hymnal at the church one day after work and started finding the keys and Michele helped me learn about the whole flat/sharp thing a little, and i just started out wanting to be able to play my favorite hymn, "Come thou fount of every blessing" and i kinda was able to hack out how to play the whole thing on the treble side of life(with lots of help from Michele and Kristen and Annie). and then today i was like, (two days after starting this endevour) lets learn the left hand, and well, its complicated to try to play both at once, its gonna take some time.
and then today, while i was workin on that, Michele hands me a paper that had a song and just the basic chords used on it and was like "i bet you could play that" and i was like, "well, im sure i could, If i knew the CHORDS!!!" lol and so that led to me just thinkin "I HAVE A BORDERS GIFT CARD!!!!! LETS GO GET A BOOK ON CHORDS!!!!!" so after work, Michele, Kristen and myself went to borders, and after Kristen had flipped through a bunch of books and i had just kinda searched for something on piano, we finally decided that "the complete idiots guide to playing piano" was the book i would get, and then Kristen got this book on music theory called "Harmony and Theory" because she is teaching some people theory, and well we went back to her house, had dinner, werent able to go to this bible study we wanted to go to so she began to teach/reteach me how to play the piano. and after that, i have decided that im going to go back to borders and get the book she got as well, because it has ways to practice the dif notes and writing them and i just helps you learn how to read the sheet music alot better.
IM EXCITED!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait to get ahold of a piano tomorrow! hope i can!
man am i out of practice though, i was having some trouble staying on beat...metronomeing is DIFFICULT!!!!

HELLO!!!!
HELLO!!!!!!!
so we did that whole talkin with the church thing, that was fun!
i was nervous, im not one for public speaking, it kinda really freaks me out alot, but michele seemed fine with it! i had to hold back my laughter...and i really had nothing to be laughing at, my nerves just do that sometime!
ok so i also just wanted to use this to share my excitement about the fact that i finished filing my taxes tonight, at least i think its done, now all i have to do is wait to see if the IRS rejects me or not, hopefully they dont!
and i sent my ACT scores to my school that i am REALLY hoping and Praying that i will get to attend, Baptist College of Florida!!!!
Now all i have left to do is file my FAFSA, but my brain cant handle that tonight, and i have to wait for my taxes to get completely filed before i can do that...
ne who, all in all i do believe that its been a productive sunday!!! im really quite excited!!!!!!

SUPER AWESOME NEW UPDATE!!!
Michele and Becky are BOTH on traveling staff!!!!
that was just the staff we are on, I (becky) am still raising funds, around $1000 to go!
We are SOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!! now for those who are wondering, Michele and I will not be seeing our church at camp this year because our youth group is going to one of the camps in Chatsworth at the Global Retreat Center, Same program just a different location. BUT our very own Justin Grack willl be there to greet our youth and spend that week with them!
Shirts arrive this friday(ie, in 2 days) so get ready! oh and in hopes of not going through any sudden bursts of laughter, please pray that sunday, when Michele and I go before the church, that well, that it runs smoothly. i suppose i will have to bite my tougue to refrain from laughing a bunch or saying something that would cause me to laugh a bunch!

Ella and Ryan
my sister's kids are twins, they were born in july 2007, and they are SO FREAKIN cute!!! i wish i could see them more often! how in the heck could you look at them and not smile!!!
