ode to the DMV

DMV oh DMV how annoying must you be?!?!!

Ive been to the DMV this week, 4 times. 3 of which were today. first time didnt turn out so good, missing some documents, had to regroup, but still an educational event. i learned that you should get to the DMV as early as possible. A) so you dont have to wait as long, and B) so that you have more time in the day to retreive missing documents and still make it back to the DMV to complete your tasks.

I stayed up rather late last night with my dear friends, some quality time that was much needed for before i go back to Florida.
It was a good time, but i knew i had to get up early to run errands. so it wasnt that smart to get home at 2am when you need to be up and out of the house by 7:30...it definitly turned into 8:30.
I got up, got ready and headed for the DMV. Tasks of the day, Title of Car in my name, Registration, Tags, Renew Liciense, find Insurrance.
after having to come back for the 3rd time, it was all settled. i now have tags, and registration and insurrance and the title. (if you are following then you may be wondering about the lisense, its too soon to be able to renew it, i have to wait til february and found out that i can do that online which is good cause i will be in florida...)
i learned something about the DMV though, its like an amusement park, without the sunshine and awesome rides. you wait in line for forever and fill out paperwork (that is mostly confusing) and when they do call your number, it takes all of 2 minutes for them to type the stuff in the computer and print out your thing and send you on your way. not sure how i feel about that...
so tomorrow i should get the car, hopefully before noonish, pack it up and head on my way down to Florida.
